Needs a heavier bass. I know a lot of the MM5 songs didn't have much of a backbeat of sorts, but you could have improvised.

Apparently, it sounds like the thing you hate the most are the raps that play on Knuckles stages. Instead of being immature and bitching about them like this, go listen to the rest of the soundtrack. Those Knux raps make up about 5% of the whole OST. Seriously, have you even given the music a chance? I'll be fair about this and say that at first I didn't like the rapping either, but after you play it a lot and get used to it, you don't seem to mind anymore. In fact, A Ghost Pumpkin's Soup is one of my favorite songs in that game now. Not THE favorite, but one of them. Go listen to a song like City Escape, or It Doesn't Matter, or Metal Harbor or something, because those are nothing like Death Chamber's music.
